Bucharest White Tango Nights

Bucharest Useful Info

Visit Bucharest and get to know the warm and beautiful Romanian tango community:

Known for its wide, tree-lined boulevards, glorious Belle Époque buildings and a reputation for the high life (which in the 1900s earned its nickname of “Little Paris”), Bucharest, Romania’s largest city and capital, is today a bustling metropolis. While your stay in Bucharest, you can enjoy walking on Calea Victoriei, Bucharest’s oldest and arguably, most charming street and discovering some of the most stunning buildings in the city, as: The Romanian Athenaeum, the Cantacuzino Palace, the Military Club, the CEC Headquarters, the historical Revolution Square and the Arts National Museum. Close to Calea Victoriei, you can enjoy a coffe, a beer or have dinner at one of the numerous coffe shops and terrace-restaurants in the Old Town pedestrian streets.

Taxis and Transfers from the airport:

In Bucharest it is recommended to use only brand taxis (yellow with the brand written, in order to avoid high, wrong rates). Here are the names of taxi companies and phone numbers, at the right rate of Ron 1.39 lei/km:
